Our origins: the passion of Gianfranco Centurelli
Centurelli Billiards was born from the deep passion of its founder, Gianfranco Centurelli, one of the most respected and talented Italian billiard players of the 1970s.
From an early age, Gianfranco devoted himself to mastering technique, precision, and the strategic philosophy of the game, becoming one of the strongest and most admired Italian players of his era.
Sporting achievements of the founder
• Italian Champion in the boccette specialty
• Winner of numerous national and regional tournaments
• Recognized among the top Italian players of the 1970s
• Multi-awarded in several official federated disciplines
This direct competitive experience became the technical and cultural foundation of the company.
1977: the establishment of Centurelli Billiards
In 1977, after many years as an athlete and consultant, Gianfranco transformed his expertise into a business venture, founding Centurelli Billiards.
His mission was clear: to provide professional equipment, high-quality materials, and specialized assistance to players across Italy.
From the very beginning, Centurelli Billiards stood out for:
• carefully selected products
• deep technical expertise
• personalized customer service
• craftsmanship and professional standards
These values still guide the company today.
The next generation: Emanuele Centurelli
Over time, Gianfranco’s sporting and professional legacy was passed on to his son, Emanuele Centurelli, himself an Italian billiards champion.
Growing up among billiard tables, cues, and competitions, Emanuele developed exceptional technical knowledge and brought fresh energy and a modern vision to the company while preserving its historical values.
The Centurelli family continues to represent a reliable and authoritative presence in the industry.
