Description
Pechauer CAM-17 “Nightfall” is a limited edition pool cue created for players and collectors who want dramatic wood figure, refined decorative detail, and premium Pechauer craftsmanship. The cue features a hand-selected bocote forearm and butt sleeve, creating a rich, natural foundation with deep visual movement and strong character.
The design is enhanced by black-framed curly maple points, luminous abalone inlays, and elegant curly maple-framed bocote points. As a result, the Nightfall delivers a bold and sophisticated look with exceptional visual depth.
Hand-Selected Bocote Forearm and Butt Sleeve
The forearm and butt sleeve are crafted from hand-selected bocote, a wood known for its dramatic grain, warm tones, and distinctive natural figure. This gives the cue a powerful and highly recognizable foundation.
Because of this wood selection, the CAM-17 Nightfall offers a premium appearance that feels both refined and expressive.
Black-Framed Curly Maple Points and Abalone Inlays
The bocote sections are detailed with black-framed curly maple points and bright abalone inlays. These elements create a strong contrast against the richly figured bocote base.
In addition, the abalone adds a luminous accent that gives the cue greater depth and elegance. Therefore, the cue stands out with a luxury visual identity without losing balance.
Curly Maple-Framed Bocote Points
The design is further enriched by curly maple-framed bocote points, which add another layer of contrast and decorative structure. The warm bocote tones remain central, while the curly maple framing brings brightness and definition.
This combination gives the Pechauer CAM-17 “Nightfall” a complex but controlled design, ideal for players who appreciate refined cue artistry.
Ebony-Stained Maple Wrap
The cue features an ebony-stained maple wrap, which continues the striking contrast of the design. This is not an Irish linen grip and does not indicate real ebony. Instead, it is a stained maple wrap with a dark ebony-tone finish.
The wrap is also enhanced by additional curly maple points and abalone detail, allowing the decorative flow to continue seamlessly through the cue.
Double Copper Rings and Hand-Signed Limited Edition Detail
The cue is finished with double copper rings, which add warmth and a distinguished classic accent to the overall design. These rings complement the bocote, curly maple, abalone, and ebony-stained maple sections.
Each cue is also individually hand-signed by Joe Pechauer. The CAM-17 “Nightfall” is produced as an exclusive limited edition of only 50 pieces, making it a strong choice for collectors as well as serious players.
10–12 Inch Pro Taper and Jade Medium Tip
From a technical point of view, the Pechauer CAM-17 Nightfall comes with a Pechauer Jade Medium tip, designed to provide a balanced mix of cue ball control, feel, and energy transfer.
The 10–12 inch Pro Taper supports a smooth and familiar stroke. As a result, the cue offers dependable playability while maintaining the premium character expected from a limited edition Pechauer cue.
Piloted Joint with Pechauer Speed JT Pin
The cue features a Piloted joint with a Pechauer Speed JT pin, designed for fast, stable, and precise assembly between butt and shaft. The .850 joint size and 5/8 inch ferrule complete the technical setup with reliable construction and a professional finish.
Because of this configuration, the Nightfall offers solid connection stability and a controlled playing feel.
