Description
Pechauer PL-36 Pool Cue is a limited edition cue designed for players and collectors who want modern dark styling, vivid turquoise accents, and refined Abalone detail. This model is limited to only 50 cues made, making it a distinctive choice within the Pechauer lineup.
The cue features a carbon-stained figured maple body, Turquoise points and inlays, Turquoise rings, and Abalone diamonds framed with ebony-style outlines inside the Turquoise inlays. In addition, the smoke-stained figured maple handle includes matching inlays for a complete and coordinated look.
Carbon-Stained Figured Maple Construction
The Pechauer PL-36 is made from carbon-stained figured maple, giving the cue a dark and modern appearance while keeping the natural figure of the maple visible.
It is important to note that carbon-stained refers to the finish applied to figured maple. Therefore, this cue is not made from carbon fiber.
Turquoise Points, Inlays, and Rings
The cue includes Turquoise points and inlays, creating a vivid color contrast against the carbon-stained maple body. The Turquoise rings continue this visual theme and add a clean decorative rhythm to the cue.
As a result, the PL-36 offers a strong and recognizable design with coordinated turquoise details throughout the cue.
Abalone Diamonds with Ebony-Style Framing
Inside the Turquoise inlays, the cue features Abalone diamonds framed with ebony-style outlines. The Abalone adds brightness, depth, and a premium decorative effect, while the dark framing gives each diamond stronger definition.
Since the original specification states Sim. Ebony, the correct wording is ebony-style, not real ebony.
Matching Butt Sleeve Inlays
The butt sleeve features matching inlays, continuing the same design language found in the forearm. This gives the cue visual continuity from top to bottom.
Because of this, the Pechauer PL-36 feels polished, balanced, and carefully coordinated.
Smoke-Stained Figured Maple Handle
The cue includes a smoke-stained figured maple handle with matching inlays. This handle creates a smoky dark contrast against the carbon-stained figured maple body and the bright Turquoise details.
The term smoke-stained refers to the finish applied to figured maple. It describes the color effect, not a separate wood species.
Limited to 50 Cues
The Pechauer PL-36 Pool Cue is limited to 50 cues made. This limited production makes it especially attractive for Pechauer collectors and players who want a rare cue with distinctive styling.
For this reason, the PL-36 is both a refined playing cue and a collectible Pechauer model.
Piloted Joint with Black Juma Collar
From a technical point of view, the Pechauer PL-36 features a Piloted joint with a Black Juma joint collar. This setup provides a stable and precise connection between butt and shaft.
The cue also uses a Pechauer Speed JT pin, designed for fast and secure assembly. The .850 joint size completes the technical setup with professional Pechauer construction.
10–12 Inch Pro Taper and Jade Medium Tip
The cue comes with a standard Pechauer Jade Medium tip, designed to provide a balanced mix of cue ball control, feel, and energy transfer.
The 10–12 inch Pro Taper supports a smooth and familiar stroke. Therefore, the Pechauer PL-36 is suitable for players looking for control, stability, and consistent pool performance.
